DESCRIPTION:The Wayanad Literature Festival (WLF) 2026 is the third edition of the biennial literary festival\, bringing writers\, artists\, filmmakers\, academics\, cultural thinkers and readers together in the rural setting of Dwaraka\, Mananthavady. The festival is scheduled for four days\, from December 20 to 23\, 2026. \nThe festival has grown significantly since its first edition in 2022. The 2024 edition attracted more than 400 speakers and over 1.1 lakh visitors\, establishing WLF as one of India’s major literature gatherings held in a rural setting. \n✍️ Literature\, Culture & Ideas \nWLF 2026 is designed as more than a conventional literary festival. Visitors can experience author interactions\, panel discussions\, cultural programmes\, film-related events\, academic sessions\, book fairs\, heritage walks\, masterclasses\, children’s programmes\, farmers’ markets and arts and crafts activities. \n🌿 A Festival Rooted in Wayanad \nOne of the distinctive features of WLF is its connection with the local community.
